Most importantly however, you and your readers should understand that if you use a Canadian credit card to purchase items sold in US dollars, you will be charged a foreign transaction fee by your credit card company for each purchase! Probably more economical to go with a Vanilla prepaid US MasterCard giftcard. It probably will work to use a Canadian credit card, since I have both a US and Canadian credit cards attached to my Amazon.com account and they work interchangeably with Amazon.com and Amazon.ca at both Canadian and US addresses

The Silk browser finally feels like a useful, welcoming tool for accessing the Web and not a clunky, low-rent app struggling to keep up with my Web-based proclivities. Apple arguably created the tablet market, and the iPad still rules the high end; an endless array of Android clones fight it out at the low end, with both sides squeezing the middle

hardware: Which reading and app ecosystem offers the most flexibility? One of the advantages of having your reading collection "in the cloud" is that you can access your books on multiple devices, though some e-book vendors offer better cross-platform support than others. This is where terminology can get a bit confusing: the e-book stores can be available on different devices, including (in the case of Apple) those of rival e-book publishers -- the e-book equivalent of buying a can of Pepsi from a Coke vending machine. The iPad offers access to all major e-book stores via their respective apps. When I registered my Kindle with Amazon( just type in your log-in details), all my purchased music was instantly available and there is a facility for you to download it all to your device so you can play it all off-line. I was worried the 7" would be a tad on the small side but I can comfortably hold it in one hand for reading or in both hands and use both thumbs for typing
