What a brilliant programme! I remember watching it intermittently throughout the late 70's early 80's and not really appreciating it (as kids do!) so thought I'd time travel back to 1974 when this season was first aired

A much better show than other 'family' shows of the time, like 'Eight Is Enough' (good but not as good as LH), and much, much better than the 'family' shows of the past decade including 'Dr. Lately, for the past 2-3 months, I've been watching back-to-back reruns nearly everyday, and have been extremely surprised at the darker layers to 'Little House' that I guess most people never picked up
This is a good series, remembered watching them on TV back to back every morning, it is timeless classics and good to relive days in walnut grove with the Ingalls family.
