Most of the users have a question on where should the SQL server be installed, should it be installed locally on the server where SCCM is installed or on a remote server ?. In this post we will be installing SQL server 2012 with SP1 on windows server 2012 R2, if you have only SQL server 2012 iso copy, you can download the SQL server 2012 service pack 1 and install it
