I tried the built-in mobile hotspot app and it checks with Verizon's servers and comes back with an error saying that I don't have the tethering feature. This is a non-issue for me as Verizon has coverage everywhere, but it is something to keep in mind if you roam on smaller regional carriers where you live

Consumer Cellular APN Settings for LTE Service

I found that I had to create a new APN entry and fill in the fields as tech support specified (leaving others alone) rather than editing any existing APN that was there already. Sprint is widely recognized for developing, engineering and deploying innovative technologies, including the first wireless 4G service from a national carrier in the United States; leading no-contract brands including Virgin Mobile USA, Boost Mobile, and Assurance Wireless; instant national and international push-to-talk capabilities; and a global Tier 1 Internet backbone

Ideal for in-vehicle networks including police cars, ambulances, and mass transit, this cloud-managed solution provides organizations the ability to scale deployments quickly and manage their vehicle networks easily in real time. Until now it was difficult for T-Mobile customers to know what the reduced speed looked like because T-Mobile exempted popular speedtest sites from getting throttled like traditional websites or video services like YouTube

Maybe one day they will have a great network due to their superior spectrum setup, but I don't see that happening in the next 5 years as they are so far behind! They also need to stop selling to so many other MVNO's! There are literally like 50 companies who use the Sprint network! 5th 0 1 year ago Reply Cnorris92 Engineering screen+ speeds tests to show your on Band 41. Which begs the question if you actually tested the spark network at all or just the band 25? Posted via Android Central App 0 1 year ago Reply Andrew Martonik Nowhere in any of Sprint's materials or marketing does it say that you must force your phone onto a certain band or do anything out of the usual to get Spark speeds

But most importantly, there is no place on the internet that has the reader participation that we do and consider ourselves to be completely community driven. I was more trying to poke fun at the accusation that Sprint is being disingenuous based on the usage data of one person that claims to frequent the entire city regularly

Reply Bill Ding says: May 3, 2015 at 9:50 am Clear has been a good deal until I caught them throttling me back, and called the executive resolution line with a Fox News Reporter on the line and threatened to OUT them for it, all of a sudden my speed went up and never was throttled again. Like all the internet providors they are all nasty and greedy and ATT being the absolute worst, they want to charge by the gig, like this is a garden hoze spilling gallons of measurable water on the street, its just data, and they have no ethical reason to put the brakes on it, or charge just because they can

There is often a pronounced delay between pressing a key and the corresponding action taking place; I tapped twice on more than one occasion, though I'm not sure if I had to do that because of lag or because of my first tap didn't register. Unfortunately, it's only available in a limited number of cities right now, so chances are you'll be stuck with significantly slower speeds until it comes to your town

More compelling for the rural operators was the Band Class 12 support Sprint had pledged for its device portfolio, which will allow a broader base of devices that will allow many carriers to offer compelling devices compatible with their 700 MHz spectrum assets. For those who have forgotten, Son said he wanted to partner with rural carriers in order to expand LTE services across the country and provide a more compelling fight against larger rivals

Multimedia and ConclusionsYou get about 1.5GB of free onboard memory and a 4GB MicroSD card in a slot under the back cover; the phone had no problem with our 64GB SanDisk card. That's balanced out, to some extent, by Sprint being the only carrier to still offer unlimited data, and Sprint told us that those plans will continue with LTE

  http://www.fiercewireless.com/special-reports/how-much-lte-spectrum-do-verizon-att-sprint-and-t-mobile-have-and-where
Goemmer noted that since the current 3GPP release for LTE only supports inter-band contiguous carrier aggregation through the end of 2014, only the largest contiguous channels controlled by a carrier are considered. Indeed, how much spectrum carriers control determines how much network capacity they have in specific markets and often how fast their network speeds are

Sprint Expands Nationwide 4G LTE Coverage Area With The Introduction Of 20 New Markets

Gerad Munsch Sensorly massively misrepresents Sprint's native coverage due to roaming and most CDMA devices not reporting the visited network's MCC+MNC accurately. Couldn't proceed with the installation due to the fact that speed tests were producing results of 2 mbps down, 0.03 mbps up, and pings varying from 80 ms to 8000 ms (yes, 8 seconds), with an average of 800 ms

(Maybe T-Mobile will eventually open up LTE for us...) John Karaman Guys, one question, can you use straight talk with att towers? Metroview Yes you can but they stopped offering them on their site for good some time ago

Irfan just want to confirm from Washing DC metro DC area( Virginia + Maryland) close by that LTE wide band implemented few days ago , 15MHZ, speed is same as we had before no improvement
