If you add in the tenure requirements for Star (4 months), Life (6 months), and Eagle (6 months) which total 1 year + 4 months, the Scout would need to have his First Class Board of Review no later than 1 month BEFORE his 11th Birthday, again with each Board of Review held exactly 4 or 6 months after the previous Board of Review. Thus the higher ranking silver palm, the highest award in Venturing (for now) being the Silver Award, Cub Scouting arrow points awarding silver after gold, and perhaps even the silver borders for Eagle required merit badges

My main interest is in NATIONAL ISSUED BOY SCOUT PATCHES, BADGES, MEDALS, PINS, UNIFORMS AND INSIGNIA and would like to buy or trade for items I need for my collection. I have many good duplicate BSA Rank Badges, Adult Office Badges, Explorer, Insignia, MB's, Pins, Jamboree, Medals, LSA, Books, OA Patches and other items for trade or sale

Collecting Temporary Patches Lastly, those temporary patches are often collected by other people and some are sold on eBay or traded with other Scouts such as at large gatherings like the Jamboree. Other Packs make the parents buy it as part of the uniform. After all beads are earned the Scout is done with their Tiger and after getting that Tiger badge (cloth badge) awarded and sewn onto the uniform, the bead hanging thing is taken OFF the uniform and put away as a keepsake or whatever.Hope this helps
How to properly wear BSA service stars

This year, I started including a service star with the Arrow of Light for their total years as a Cub Scout so when they cross over, they have their gold backed pin. on their uniform, you could also have the parent pin the new numbered pin onto their uniform, and maybe have just a wooden chest held by the den leader or cubmaster that they could place the old one back into

If you need to buy a new uniform shirt or any of the accessories such as neckerchiefs, caps or slides, more affordable options are often available on eBay. When he was a Webelos II, we got him the tan shirt that he could wear when he crossed over to Boy Scouts (again a little on the large side so he could grow into it)

Brownstein that we do not wear uniforms at an event like this," said Rick Barnes, chief scout executive of the Great Salt Lake Council, which consists of more than 75,000 youth. But Brownstein did not wear his uniform and instead opted for a T-shirt that carried the message of inclusive Scouting, with a rainbow square knot on it

Wearing a uniform is a constant reminder to each Cub Scout of his commitment to the ideals and purposes of Cub Scouting: duty to God, loyalty to country, and helpfulness to others. With either uniform, all Webelos Scouts wear the Webelos neckerchief (plaid with the Webelos emblem), Webelos neckerchief slide (handmade slides are also acceptable), Webelos cap, and Webelos belt buckle

Note that the Webelos belt buckle will fit either the blue or the olive belt, but the belt loop recognitions for the Cub Scout Academics and Sports program fit only on the blue web belt. Wearing a uniform is a constant reminder to each Cub Scout of his commitment to the ideals and purposes of Cub Scouting: duty to God, loyalty to country, and helpfulness to others

The 1954 General Shoe ad shows a moc, a moc with a seam at the front of the toe, and a boot which looks like WWII Army boots with double buckle with BSA logo at the top front above the ankles. are there specific regulations as to what can and cant be worn for one's patrol patch? i was kind of interested in replacing mine with a custom patrol patch with a family symbol on it or something like that

Be sure to buy it correctly the very first time!Sep 08, 2014 - Joe@Eva Hello! Was the shop that you went to a National Scout Shop? or is it Council owned? I know if you were to come into my Scout Shop here in Salt Lake City which is a Natiaonlly owned, we would be able to work with you. I think one is for the parent (I don't know which one) and I do not know where to put his on his uniform.Jun 22, 2013 - Scouter Paul@Tracy - The smaller pin is a Parent Pin for you to keep as a keepsake
