OOT pulled zelda up into a new dimension and set a new standard (as nintendo tend to do) in rpg but MM was a much more expansive game and ultimatly enjoyable game. This is why I felt Metroid Prime was a slightly better 3D adaptation of its respective source material, better preserving that quickness felt in 2D, where Zelda really lost that in the gameplay department (in the interest of making this game feel more realistic and immersive)

There are, of course, more modest examples that don't involve speed runs or even severe glitches: The N64 games allowed Link to jump over low fences or obstacles in a realistic fashion using backflips and side jumps, leading to some potentially unexpected situations. Stable Time Loop: In the future, Link meets an irritated musician who accidentally teaches him a song a young boy played in his windmill seven years ago by recollecting it

Getting the Compass Head back to the previous room, and go through the locked door to enter a room with a series of chain platforms suspended over the lava. Note that if you entered the crater from the top of Death Mountain you may not be able to get to the bridge - you need to take the secret passage from Darunia's room in Goron City the first time (see above)

The real reason behind the alterations was revealed in May 2012, when Nintendo released a statement that the music was initially chosen from a library of commercially available clips. Similarly, the original Gerudo Symbol (which also resembled an Islamic icon) found on various blocks, Foot Switches, and the Mirror Shield was also replaced in versions beyond Nintendo 64 with no official explanation given

The second part of Arabic samples was deciphered as the Basmala; meaning "In the name of God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful", followed by the Takbir; literally meaning "God is Great". In general, the only rooms where the heat will prove lethal to Link if he stays there long enough are the minority of rooms that contain large pools of magma

On the second platform, you need to time your run so you can build up momentum (remember, no friction), so you want to make it to the locked door just as the moving platform stops, giving you time to hover across

However, the next time he comes up to fly around he will drop boulders from the ceiling, so you will definitely want to hang off the side at this time to avoid any mishaps. Walk a little further along the bridge and Sheik will appear at this time to teach you the Bolero of Fire, the melody that will lead you to the Fire Temple

The left holds nothing but a Lizalfos guarding a few measly trinkets you can find by breaking the various pots and crates, and the right path holds a Lizalfos guarding the way out. This boss is rather simple: it really only consists of a single orb that controls the water in this room (in the form of tentacles that try to grab you)

As soon as the wall to the right is low enough for you to jump up (it's the last portion of the stairway wall), jump up and run up the narrow ledge to the treasure chest. Left tower, left side, 3F: Fight the Lizalfos, then go to the northern part of the area and listen for the sound of a spider (it's a niche with a diagonal piece of the ceiling covering the area)

After causing enough damage to Ganon, Link retrieves the Master Sword, and with the help of Princess Zelda, deals a finishing blow to the monstrous creature. In many cases, knowledge of the original game can be a hindrance rather than a help, and trying to solve puzzles the way they are done in the original leads only to a trap, or a meager prize of no more than five Rupees

Get to the far platform and play the Sun Song where Navi is green, Catch the first fairy and then Longshot up to the door area, You can then jump diagonally to the ledge on the far side with the three pots. Head to the south-west side of the platform and use your Longshot to pull yourself over to the nearby platform with another Triforce symbol on the wall
